fun_plug v0.70 (for NAS-1)

Download the latest files:

    fun_plug
    fun_plug.tgz
        Version “ARM” for EABI-devices (like the DNS-320/325/345 and CH3MNAS) (Mirror)
        Version “OABI” for OABI-devices (like the DNS-323 and CH3SNAS) (Mirror)

Ensure that these two files are named fun_plug (not fun_plug.sh) and fun_plug.tgz 
(not fun_plug.gz or fun_plug.tar.gz or fun_plug.tar).

Place both files in the topmost directory of Volume_1 of your NAS. If you use Windows 
Explorer it could look like this or this or similar. If you are running a different OS 
like Linux or MAC OSx, please ensure that the file fun_plug is marked as executable (chmod 777).

the 2 files
   fun_plug   and    fun_plug.tgz
must be placed in the topmost directory of Volume_1 of the NAS, rename them if necessary
(perhaps for deactivating reasons they are renamed).
Save fun_plug.tgz for it is extracted and deleted after reboot.
Now you should get connected by telnet or ssh after rebooting NAS.
Run uwsiteloader.sh to update package-lists.

-	deinstalling
mount NAS-1 Volume_1.
In this Dir there is installed the script fun_plug and the DIR ffp.
DIR Volume_1/.. has user xxx + group xxx, mod 777.
All other files have mod 777 too.
So you can "wrx" all files.
New files can be created but no soft links.
To remove fun_plug only rename or remove the file + rename the DIR.
If removed a new fun_plug script could invoke sshd.

One of the new features of the fun_plug 0.7 is the possiblity to add multiple locations of the packages for the fun_plug 0.7. Although this looks nice, i wanted to see that automated. So i wrote uwsiteloader which first gets a definition-file which is then presented nicely to the user in the console. This will not work in other versions of FFP than 0.7!

			* Installation: uwsiteloader + slacker
   wget http://wolf-u.li/u/441 -O /ffp/bin/uwsiteloader.sh
   chmod a+x /ffp/bin/uwsiteloader.sh

!!!   To update the site-definitions, run uwsiteloader.sh:
   uwsiteloader.sh

			* Packages
slacker lists, installs, updates, removes packages.
The list of all available files is to be found e.g. in 
   /mnt/HD/HD_a2/ffp/funpkg/cache/
The packed packages of the installed apps are found in /mnt/HD/HD_a2/ffp/home/root/additional.

			* Zugang als root
in ffp/start telnetd.sh mode 777, wird dann beim start aufgerufen, 
wird als root eingeloggt ohne Passwort-Abfrage (z.B. wenn PW vergessen o.ae.)
   entweder     HD ausbauen und telnetd.sh entsprechend aendern
   oder         in share-center im web-dateiserver telnetd.sh runterladen, 
                mode aendern, dann wieder hochladen

-	Apps installed

			* mediatomb

Needs sqlite3.
Config in: /mnt/HD/HD_a2/ffp/home/root/.mediatomb/config.xml.
Start-commands in /ffp/start/mediatomb.sh:

! Be careful that sshd or telnet starts before mediatomb.
If the config.xml is not correct, mediatomb will hang and then you cannot reach the server by sshd !

In config-DIR all files except config.xml can be deleted if necessary.
